Charlie was the first puppy born in my first litter and my first home-bred champion. He finished at 20 months with three majors, in limited showing. His wins include a Best of Breed in specials competition at 10 months and Winners Dog at the 2006 American Spaniel Club show at 12 months from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class.
Charlie has a strong topline and movement that makes him a joy to watch. At home he's a mama's boy. He's too big for my lap but wants to be there anyway.
At the age of 6, Charlie is showing a bit of gray around the eyes. He's taking a break from the show ring until he's 7, when he can compete in veterans classes. We'll try some rally classes soon and hope to enter his first trial in the near future.
